American Culinary Federation Cape Cod & the Islands Chapter
About the Scholarship Program

It is the intent of the CCI Education Committee to provide financial assistance to its members through scholarships.

This assistance is based upon available funds allocated by the Chapter's Officers on a yearly basis: January 1 through December 31. Any member in good standing may apply for financial aid, provided the criteria is met and approved by the Education Committee.

Each member may apply for a scholarship(s) not to exceed more than $200 per calendar year, provided that funds are available.

The finances will be recorded by the Education Committee and permanent records will be tracked.

Five scholarships may be approved per calendar year. Any approved scholarship funds will be dispersed at completion of the educational event with proof of completion. No checks will be issued prior to the educational event.

The American Culinary Federation Cape Cod & The Islands Chapter supplies these funds. The Education Committee documenting all disbursements and compliance with all conditions of each scholarship will maintain records.

No check will be issued to an individual, unless approved by the Education Committee in advance. All checks will be made out to the approved member, school, or educational event site. AlI monies are to be spent on approved educational expenses, i.e., tuition and textbooks. Travel, lodging and food are not approved items for scholarship money.
